ReplyDeleteThere's something more comic-book about the look of this one, compared to the first Burton. Block colours, large shapes. Somewhere between the first Burton Batman and Dick Tracy.

ReplyDeleteI've always been an arguer against those that say that Walken is the same in all of his roles. He isn't helping me here though. Max Shreck is Max Zorin...simple as that.
ReplyDeleteMichelle Pfeiffer is so, so good in this. Not a fan of the film but she is great.

ReplyDeleteSwitching mob for politics and Vale for villainess and there's virtually nothing here - not a mention of Wayne's motivation after it was solved int eh alst one...

ReplyDeletePenguin grabs Batmobile for second time this viewing. Problem with the character - far more effective as a villain than you’d think.

DeleteMasquerade ball's are a key component Batman films - not equivocal to car chases in Bond films, that would be the car chases...

DeleteAw, Penguin demise still one of the saddest bits in film... Another two villains bite the dust – along with a Batmobile, Batplane and Batboat... Not bad for the Keaton tenure.
